Company History
Rocket Australia Pty Ltd is a 100% privately owned and operated Australian company. Our facilities based in Melbourne have provided Australian consumers with high quality batteries since 1988.
Starting as two friends with a dream and an opportunity. The company has managed to expand from a two man operation supplying milk bars and convenience stores, to a small business supplying Australia’s largest supermarkets.
Over the past 29 years there has been massive shifts in the battery market, with more and more companies being able to import from manufacturers overseas, there has been an emphasis on cheaper pricing, and as a result of this, a decrease in quality. As a small business we have been able to conduct market trend reviews and focus on providing consumers with the highest quality batteries, for the most competitive price.
In 2016 we decided to rebrand our products and release our new Platinum brand batteries. This progressive design has seen a growth in sales and we are reaching more and more consumers by the month.
